Ølgod

Ølgod is a railway town with a population of 3,926 (1 January 2012), at the railroad between Esbjerg and Struer and a former municipality in Varde municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 247 km², and had a total population of 11,351 (2005). Its last mayor was Erik Buhl Nielsen. On January 1, 2007 Ølgod municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).
