Holsted

Holsted is a town with a population of 3,147 (1 January 2012) and a former municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 190 km², and had a total population of 6,965 (2005). Its last mayor was Carl Aaskov, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. On January 1, 2007, Holsted municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).

Laeborg Runestone

The Læborg or Laeborg Runestone, listed as DR 26 in the Rundata catalog, is a Viking Age memorial runestone located outside of the village hall or Forsamlinghus in Læborg, which is about 3 kilometers north of Vejen, Denmark. The stone includes two depictions of the hammer of the Norse pagan god Thor.

Brørup is a town with a population of 4,457 (1 January 2012) in Vejen Municipality, Region of Southern Denmark in Denmark. Until January 1, 2007, Brørup was also a municipality in Ribe County. The municipality covered an area of 107 km², and had a total population of 6,485 (2005). Its last mayor was Egon Fræhr, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. Brørup is also where the famous bowler Erik Grön lives.

Grindsted Municipality

Until January 1, 2007, Grindsted municipality was a municipality in Ribe County on the Jutland Peninsula in south-west Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 382 km², and had a total population of 17,379 (2005). Its latest mayor was Ib Kristensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The site of its municipal council was the town of Grindsted. The municipality's motto was "Grindsted - Vi har det hele" which means "Grindsted - We have it all".
