Chalatenango (known as "Chalate" by locals) is a town and municipality in the Chalatenango department of El Salvador. It is the capital of the department. The coat of arms is actually the same as the department's, as is the flag. As of 2007 the municipality covers an area of 131.5 km and has a population of 29,271. It is divided administratively into 6 cantons and 36 caserios.

Estadio José Gregorio Martínez
Estadio José Gregorio Martínez is a multi-use stadium in Chalatenango, El Salvador. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of C.D. Chalatenango. The stadium holds 15,000 people. The stadium was named after José Gregorio Martínez in 1988. A few matches in 2009 will be the host stadium for Nejapa F.C.

Guarita is a municipality in the Honduran department of Lempira. It is one of the oldest municipalities of the Lempira department. The best way to go to Guarita is via Santa Rosa de Copán-San Marcos de Ocotepeque-Cololaca-Guarita and it takes about 2.5 hours. This way is much more preferable than going via Gracias.
