Shewa Robit

Shewa Robit (also known as Shah Robit, Shoa Robit or Robit) is a town in north-central Ethiopia. Located in the Semien Shewa Zone of the Amhara Region, this town has a longitude and latitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:10|06|N|39|59|E||| |primary |name= }} with an elevation of 1280 meters above sea level. Shewa Robit holds its market on Wednesdays.

Middle Awash

The Middle Awash is an archaeological site along the Awash River in Ethiopia's Afar Depression. A number of Pleistocene and late Miocene hominid remains have been found at the site, along with some of the oldest known Olduwan stone artifacts and patches of fire-baked clay, disputed evidence of the use of fire. Chimpanzee and human lineages are thought to have split around this time, somewhere between 5 million and 7 million years ago.

Kewet (woreda)

Kewet (also transliterated Qawat) is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Semien Shewa Zone, Kewet is bordered on the southwest by Termaber, on the northwest by Menz Mam Midir, on the north by Efratana Gidim, and on the east by Afar Region. The major town in Kewet is Shewa Robit. Between 1994 and 2004 the boundaries of Kewet changed slightly. One kebele was transferred to Termaber and several kebeles north of Shewa Robit were moved into the Afar Region.
