Tena (woreda)

Tena is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Diksis woreda was separated form Tena woreda. Part of the Arsi Zone, Tena is bordered on the south by Sherka, on the southwest by Bekoji, on the west by Digeluna Tijo, on the northwest by Hitosa, on the north by Dodotana Sire, on the northeast by Sude, and on the east by Robe. The administrative center of the woreda is Ticho; other towns in Tena include Kela.

Arsi Zone

Arsi (or Arssi) is one of the zones of the Oromia Region in Ethiopia. Arsi is also the name of a former province. Both the Zone and the former province are named after a subgroup of the Oromo, who inhabit both. Arsi is bordered on the south by Bale, on the southwest by the Mirab Arsi Zone, on the northwest by Misraq (East) Shewa, on the north by the Afar Region and on the east by Mirab (West) Hararghe.

Arsi Province

Arsi was a province of Ethiopia with its capital at Asella. The province was reduced to a Zone of the Oromia Region with the adoption of the new constitution in 1995. Both the Zone and the former province are named after a subgroup of the Oromo, who inhabit both the former Bale and Arsi provinces.

Meraro

Meraro is a town in central Ethiopia. Located in the Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region to the south of Bekoji, it has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:7|41|N|39|25|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 3,030 meters. Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia published in 2005, Meraro has an estimated total population of 4,307 consisting of 2,036 men and 2, 271 women.

Digelu

Digelu (also known as Kidame Digelu) is a town in central Ethiopia. Located in the Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region to the east of Sagure, it has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:7|45|N|39|15|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 2,713 meters . It is one of three settlements in Digeluna Tijo woreda. A survey of Digelu made in 1970 portrayed the town sitting in a forested area where tree felling had just started.
