Fort Rapp

Fort Rapp (once called Fort Moltke) is part of the 14 fortifications erected in Alsace by the Prussian general Von Moltke after the fall of Strasbourg in 1870 during the Franco-Prussian War and following the siege of Strasbourg. Built between 1872–1874 and inaugurated on 26 September 1874, it was part of the fortifications meant to protect the city from French attacks. Since 1918 and the return of Alsace-Lorraine to France, it is named after the French general Jean Rapp.

École européenne de chimie, polymères et matériaux

The European School of Chemistry, Polymers and Materials Science (ECPM) of Strasbourg is a public engineering school in the city of Strasbourg, in Alsace, France. It was founded in 1948, and is located on the Cronenbourg Campus of the University of Strasbourg. Each year 90 students graduate from the school with a diplôme d'ingénieur.

Internationaux de Strasbourg

The Internationaux de Strasbourg (formally known as The Strasbourg Grand Prix) is a tennis tournament held in Strasbourg, France. Held since 1987, this WTA Tour event is an International-level tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was played at the Hautepierre before moving to the Strasbourg’s Tennis Club in 2011.

Rhenus Sport

Rhenus Sport is an multi-purpose arena, located in Strasbourg, France. The seating capacity is 6,200 people. In 1981, in was the venue of the European Champions Cup basketball final, in which Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Synudine Bologna 80-79. In February 2006, the Davis Cup match between France and Sweden took place in this arena. It is currently home to the Strasbourg IG basketball team.
