Arboretum de Pézanin

The Arboretum de Pézanin (27 hectares) is an arboretum located in Dompierre-les-Ormes, Saône-et-Loire, Bourgogne, France. The arboretum was established in 1903 by Joseph-Marie-Philippe Lévêque de Vilmorin (1872-1917), owner of Château d'Audour. Between 1903 and 1923, over 1100 species were planted, but it then fell into a period of abandonment until it was acquired by the state in 1935. It is now managed by the Office national des Forêts.

Arconce

The Arconce is a 99 km long river in the Saône-et-Loire département, central France. Its source is in Mary, 2 km southwest of the village. It is a right tributary of the Loire into which it flows at Varenne-Saint-Germain, 2.5 km northwest of the village. It flows generally southwest, but north from Anzy-le-Duc to its mouth, with numerous meanders.
