Arconce

The Arconce is a 99 km long river in the Saône-et-Loire département, central France. Its source is in Mary, 2 km southwest of the village. It is a right tributary of the Loire into which it flows at Varenne-Saint-Germain, 2.5 km northwest of the village. It flows generally southwest, but north from Anzy-le-Duc to its mouth, with numerous meanders.

Taizé Community

The Taizé Community is an ecumenical monastic order in Taizé, Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy, France. It is composed of rather more than a hundred brothers, from Protestant and Catholic traditions, who originate from about thirty countries across the world. It was founded in 1940 by Brother Roger Schutz, a Protestant.

Cluny Abbey
