Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Cemetery, specifically the one known as Cimetière de Liers, as there are two cemeteries in the city, is a Russian Orthodox cemetery, located on Rue Léo Lagrange in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, département Essonne, France. Évry Cathedral (Cathédrale de la Résurrection d'Évry) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the new town of Évry in France. The Diocese of Corbeil or Corbeil-Essonnes was created in 1966, and the parish church of Saint-Spire was elevated to the status of the bishop's seat as Corbeil Cathedral, but neither it nor any other of the existing churches was suitable in size and location, and the bishop's offices were in a converted primary school.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Évry–Corbeil-Essonnes
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Évry–Corbeil-Essonnes, is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic church in France. Erected in 1966 as the Diocese of Corbiel, the diocese was split off from the Diocese of Versailles. In 1988, the dioces was renamed to the Diocese of Évry–Corbeil-Essonnes. Currently the diocese remains a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Paris. The current bishop is Michel Marie Jacques Dubost, appointed in April 2000.
