Château de Petit-Bourg

The château de Petit-Bourg is located in Évry-sur-Seine. The first château known on the site of Petit-Bourg, on the Seine, overlooking the Forêt de Sénart, began in the 17th century for André Courtin, Canon of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and was completed about 1635 for Jean Galland. Around 1650, Monseigneur Louis Barber de La Rivière, Bishop of Langres, had gardens designed by François Mansart. Jules Hardouin-Mansart would have worked there about 1662.

It is located 25.0 km from the center of Paris, in the "new town" of Évry Ville Nouvelle, created in the 1960s, of which it is the central and most populated commune. Air France Flight 007

Air France Flight 007 was a charter flight that crashed on June 3, 1962 while attempting to depart Paris's Orly Airport en route to Atlanta, Georgia via New York City's Idlewild Airport. The 707 carried 122 passengers and 10 crew, of whom 130 died. The pilot was Captain Roland Hoche, 39, assisted by First Officer Jacques Pitoiset, 40, and Flight Engineer Robert Barres, 42. This is the first single civilian jet airliner disaster with more than 100 deaths.

The École Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l'Industrie et l'Entreprise (National School of Computer Science for Industry and Business) or ENSIIE, formerly Institut d'Informatique d'Entreprise, is one of the French public Grandes écoles of engineering. It is specialised in Computer Science. Member of the UniverSud Paris. The ENSIIE (then known as IIE-CNAM) was created by the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 1968. It is located in Évry, near Paris.
