Saint-Étienne de Metz (French for "Saint-Stephen of Metz"), also known as Metz Cathedral, is a historic Roman Catholic cathedral in Metz, capital of Lorraine, France. Saint-Étienne de Metz is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metz and the seat of the Bishop of Metz, currently Pierre Raffin. Battle of Fort Driant

The Battle of Fort Driant was a constituent battle in the 1944 Battle of Metz, during the Lorraine Campaign and the greater Siegfried Line Campaign. The battle was on occupied French territory between the liberation forces of the United States Third Army under the command of George S. Patton and the occupation forces of Nazi Germany. It is the site of one of Patton's few setbacks in World War II, along with the rest of the Metz battle.

Stade Saint-Symphorien

Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien is a multi-purpose stadium in Metz, France. It is currently used mostly for football matches, by FC Metz. The stadium is able to hold 26,700 people and was built in 1923.

Jardin botanique de Metz

The Jardin botanique de Metz (4.4 hectares), also known as the Jardin botanique de la Ville de Metz, is a botanical garden located at 27 ter, rue du Pont-à-Mousson, Montigny-lès-Metz, Moselle, Lorraine, France. It is open daily; admission is free. The garden was originally known as Frescatelly Park, an estate of Philippe d'Aubertin of Bionville, whose summer pavilion (built 1719) currently houses the directorate of the Department of Parks.

Paul Verlaine University - Metz (Université Paul Verlaine - Metz, or UPV-M) was a French university, based in Metz. It merged with Nancy-I, Nancy-II, and the INPL forming the University of Lorraine. The merger process started in 2009 with the creation of a "pôles de recherche et d'enseignement supérieur" or PRES and was completed 1st January 2012.
