Pique (river)

The Pique is a 33 km long river in southern France, left tributary of the Garonne. Its source is in the Pyrenees, on the north side of the Port de Venasque mountain pass. It flows generally northward, entirely within the Haute-Garonne département. It passes through the resort town Bagnères-de-Luchon and Cierp-Gaud. It flows into the Garonne in Chaum.

Château de Galié

The Château de Galié is a ruined 13th and 14th century castle in the commune of Galié in the Haute-Garonne département of France. Privately owned, it has been listed since 1970 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Gare de Loures-Barbazan

Loures-Barbazan is a railway station in Loures-Barousse, Midi-Pyrénées, France. The station is located on the Montréjeau–Luchon railway line. The station is served by Lunéa (night trains) and TER (local) services operated by the SNCF.

Col de Menté

The Col de Menté (1,349 m./4,426 ft. ) is a mountain pass in the central Pyrenees in the department of Haute-Garonne in France. It is situated on the D44 road between Saint-Béat and the D618 (at the bottom of the Col de Portet d'Aspet) and connects the Ger and Garonne valleys. Le Mourtis ski-station is located 1 km. south of the col. A stele in memory of Serge Lapébie is situated at the summit.
