Brière

Brière is the marsh area to the north of the Loire estuary in France at its mouth on the Atlantic Ocean. The residents of Brière are called Brièrons. The Brière marsh area includes a vast area of humid zones stretching from the Gulf of Morbihan and the estuary of the Vilaine to the north, to the salt marshes of Guérande to the west to the estuary of the Loire River and the Lac de Grand-Lieu in the south. Peat used to be harvested here.

Château de Ranrouët

The Château du Ranroët is a castle existing since the 12th century, located in Herbignac in the Loire-Atlantique department of France. Since 1925, the Château du Ranroët has been listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Oust

The Oust is a river in Brittany, France, right tributary of the Vilaine. Its source is in the hills between Corlay and Quintin. It flows generally southeast, through the following départements and towns: Côtes-d'Armor: Uzel Morbihan: Rohan, Josselin, Malestroit Ille-et-Vilaine: Redon The Oust flows into the river Vilaine in Redon. The part of the Oust between Rohan and Redon has been made navigable for small ships, and forms part of the Canal de Nantes à Brest.

Chantiers de l'Atlantique

Chantiers de l'Atlantique, is a Saint-Nazaire, France based shipyard; which forms part of the STX France SA business unit, majority owned by STX Europe with a 66.6% stake and the balance 33.34% held by the French state. It is one of the world's largest shipyards, and built the iconic ocean liner the RMS Queen Mary 2. The shipyard owned by Alstom since 1984, became part of Aker Yards when Aker Group acquired the Alstom Marine business in 2006.
