Donjon de Niort

Not to be confused with the Château d'Aniort, near the village of Niort, Aude The Donjon de Niort or Château de Niort (the former is most often used today) is a medieval castle in the French town of Niort in the département of Deux-Sèvres. It consists of two square towers, linked by a 15th century building and dominates the Sèvre Niortaise valley. The two donjons are the only remaining part of the castle. The castle was started by Henry II Plantagenet and completed by Richard the Lionheart.

Boutonne

The Boutonne is a 98.8 km long river in the Deux-Sèvres and Charente-Maritime départements, western France. Its source is in the village of Chef-Boutonne (French: head of the Boutonne). It flows generally southwest. It is a right tributary of the Charente into which it flows near Cabariot.

Stade René Gaillard

Stade René Gaillard is a multi-use stadium in Niort, France. It is the home of French Championnat de France amateur football team Chamois Niortais and has a capacity of 10,898 spectators. Niort played their first game at the Stade René Gaillard on 3 August 1974. The record attendance at the stadium is 16,715 for the game between Chamois Niortais and Olympique Marseille in 1988.
