Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte Schwäbisch Gmünd

The Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte (German for Federal School for the Highly Gifted) in Schwäbisch Gmünd is a co-educational public Boarding school for highly gifted students founded by the state of Baden-Württemberg. It is the first and sole school of this kind in this state. The Landesgymansium für Hochbegabte is the fourth publicly funded school in Germany for highly gifted students besides the Landesschule Pforta in Saxony-Anhalt, the Landesgymnasium St.

Rechberg (mountain)

The Rechberg (el. 707 m. ) is one of the three Imperial mountains near Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. Together with the Hohenstaufen and Stuifen, it forms the so-called "Three Kaiser mountains". It lies south of Schwäbisch Gmünd on the northern end of the Schwäbische Alb. The other two Imperial mountains are the Stuifen to the southeast and the Hohenstaufen to the west. In 1979, the Rechberg was made a state recreation area.
