The Fernspählehrkompanie 200 or short FSLK200 is a highly specialized unit of the German Army. Fernspäher is an aged and venerable term for elite reconnaissance troopers, relating to German fern (in this context over long distances) and Späher (scout). Thus, Fernspäher are reconnaissance soldiers who cover great distances to gather intelligence and fulfill their mission. In October 2011 the German ministry of defence announced that FSLK 200 will be deactivated.

Battle of Ostrach

The Battle of Ostrach, also called the Battle by Ostrach, occurred on 20–21 March 1799. It was the first battle of the War of the Second Coalition. The battle resulted in the victory of the Austrian forces, under the command of Archduke Charles, over the French forces, commanded by Jean Baptiste Jourdan. The battle occurred during Holy Week, 1799, amid rain and dense fog.

Waldbühne Sigmaringendorf

Waldbühne Sigmaringendorf is an Open-Air-theatre in Sigmaringendorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The theatre was founded in 1928. The actors are amateurs and play two plays each season, one for children, one for adults. The first play in 1928 was Gerhart Hauptmann's ‘Der arme Heinrich’, in 2011 Waldbühne Sigmaringendorf showed Victor Hugo's Les Misérables and Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking.
