Allersberg (Rothsee) station

Allersberg (Rothsee) is a railway station situated at km 25.4 of the Nuremberg-Ingolstadt high-speed line. The station is situated about 3 km west of the Middle Franconian town Allersberg, adjacent to the A 9 motorway. Together with Kinding (Altmühltal) (km 58.6) and Ingolstadt Nord (km 86.8) it is one of three regional stations on the high-speed line.

Roth (district)

Roth is a district in Bavaria, Germany. It is bounded by (from the northeast and clockwise) the districts of Nürnberger Land, Neumarkt, Eichstätt, Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen, Ansbach and Fürth, and the cities of Schwabach and Nuremberg. In medieval times the region was ruled by many lords. Brandenburg-Ansbach and Nuremberg owned possessions in this territory, and other parts were property of clerical states. When these clerical states were dissolved in 1803, the district fell to Bavaria.

Postbauer-Heng station

Postbauer-Heng is a railway station serving the municipality of Postbauer-Heng situated in the German district of Neumarkt. It is situated at km 73.5 of the Nuremberg-Regensburg railway line. The station was named Postbauer until 1978 but was renamed when the municipalities of Postbauer and Heng merged. The platforms have been refurbished in 1998 in anticipation of the Nuremberg S-Bahn line to Neumarkt, which will become operational in 2010.

Golden Cone of Ezelsdorf-Buch

The Golden Cone of Ezelsdorf-Buch (German: Goldblechkegel von Ezelsdorf Buch) is a Late Bronze Age artefact discovered in 1953 between the villages of Ezelsdorf and Buch in Southern Germany. A tall (88 cm), cone-shaped object made of thin sheet gold, it is seen as belonging to a group of artifacts referred to as Bronze Age Golden hats. It was presumably worn by special functionaries on ceremonial occasions.

Dillberg transmitter

Dillberg transmitter is a transmitting facility of the Bavarian Broadcasting Company on the 595 metre high Dillberg mountain west of Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Bavaria, Germany. Dillberg transmitter went into service in 1955 for serving the area of Nuremberg with TV and FM radio programmes from a 198 metre tall guyed mast.
