Naab

The Naab is a river in Bavaria, Germany, and is a left tributary of the Danube. It is approx. 165 km long, including its main source river Waldnaab. The Naab is formed by the confluence of the Waldnaab and the Haidenaab in Luhe-Wildenau, south of Weiden in der Oberpfalz. It flows generally south, through the towns Nabburg, Schwandorf and Burglengenfeld. It flows into the Danube near Regensburg.

Regensburg-Prüfening station

Regensburg-Prüfening station is one of the three railway stations in the German city of Regensburg used for passenger services; the others being Regensburg Hauptbahnhof and Regensburg-Burgweinting. It is located in the west of the city on Prüfeninger Schloßstrasse. In front of the station the track divides into the line to Nuremberg and the Danube Valley railway to Ingolstadt Hauptbahnhof and Ulm. This crosses the line to Nuremberg shortly after Prüfening station.

Herzogspark

Herzogspark (1.5 hectares) is a municipal park, with small botanical garden, located on the banks of the Danube at the western edge of the old city, at Hundsumkehr Strasse, Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany. The park dates to 1293, when a new wall was constructed after enlargement of the city. Its moat now forms part of the landscape.

Württembergisches Palais

The Württembergisches Palais (also known as the Herzogspalais) is an early 19th century Neoclassical-style palace in the Western District of Regensburg in Bavaria's Upper Palatinate. The palace complex includes the Herzogspark, a municipal park with a Renaissance garden and a medieval tower known as the Prebrunnturm. Württembergisches Palais is the seat of the Natural History Museum of East Bavaria.

Prüfening Abbey

Prüfening Abbey was a Benedictine monastery on the outskirts of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany. Since the beginning of the 19th century it has also been known as Prüfening Castle (Schloss Prüfening). Notably, its extant dedicatory inscription, commemorating the founding of the abbey in 1119, was created by printing and is a unique document of medieval typography.
