Aland (river)

The Aland is a river in the German states of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, left tributary of the Elbe. It is the continuation of the river Biese, which is the continuation of the river Milde. The Aland is 27 km long, whereas the total Milde-Biese-Aland system is 97 km long. The Aland flows into the Elbe in Schnackenburg.

Nausdorf Canal

The Nausdorf Canal lies in the municipality Lenzen, in the northwest of the German state of Brandenburg. It links two lakes - the Rambower See and the Rudower See - and runs through the Rambower Moor. It takes its name from the village Nausdorf, located midway along the canal. The canal is about 5 km long and a maximum of 3 m wide. Its depth is about 1 m; its bed is covered with a thick layer of mud. The watercourse is not navigable.

Stepenitz (Brandenburg)

The Stepenitz is a river in the district of Prignitz, Brandenburg, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Elbe and runs for approximately 84 kilometers. The Dömnitz is a left tributary of the Stepenitz. The Stepenitz's source is about five kilometers south of Meyenburg. Along with the Karthane, the Stepenitz flows into the Elbe at Wittenberge. The Gänsetour ("geese tour") is an approximately 70 km long bicycle route along the Stepenitz.
