The Richtenberger See is a lake between the towns of Franzburg and Richtenberg in Western Pomerania in northeast Germany. The waterbody was drained in 1936, but refilled as part of an ecological measure to compensate for environmental damage caused by the construction of the A 20 motorway.

Nordvorpommern

Nordvorpommern ("North Western Pomerania") was a Kreis (district) in the northern part of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The district was created in 1994 by merging the three previous districts Grimmen, Ribnitz-Damgarten and Stralsund. On 4 September 2011, it was merged to Vorpommern-Rügen. It was situated at the coast of the Baltic Sea, where it enclosed the city of Stralsund.

Stralsund Barth Airport

Stralsund Barth Airport (or Baltic Sea Airport, German Ostseeflughafen) is a regional airport serving the city of Stralsund, Germany. After intensive modernization, the airport was reopened on May 25, 2012. A new tower and terminal were built, the runway was extended to 1,450m. The new concept is targeted on the establishment of a hot spot for the Offshore wind power industry in the Baltic Sea.
