Kupfermühle

Kupfermühle (Danish: Kobbermølle, both names meaning "copper mill") is a village located north of Flensburg in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is located near the Flensburg Fjord just south of the easternmost part of the Danish-German border.

Kruså

Kruså is a Danish border town and border crossing with a population of 1,655 (1 January 2011), six kilometers north of Flensburg, situated on the European route E45. It is located in Aabenraa Municipality. On April 9, 1940, at 4:15 am German troops crossed the border here beginning the invasion of Denmark. Until the opening of the freeway border crossing at Frøslev Kruså was the most important crossing over land to Germany.

Naval Academy at Mürwik

The Naval Academy at Mürwik is the main training establishment for all German Navy officers and replaced the German Imperial Naval Academy in Kiel. It is located at Mürwik which is a part of Germany's most northern city, Flensburg. Built on a small hill directly by the coast, it overlooks the Flensburg Fjord. Hence its beautiful architecture and location the academy is often named the "Red Castle By The Sea".

Bov Municipality

Until January 1, 2007, Bov municipality, was a municipality in South Jutland County on the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 148 km², and had a total population of 9,992 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Aage Helmig, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Padborg.

Southern Jutland

Southern Jutland is the name for the region south of the Kongeå in Jutland, Denmark. The region north of the Kongeå is called Nørrejylland (Northern Jutland). Both territories had their own ting assemblies in the Middle Ages. Southern Jutland is mentioned for the first time in the Knýtlinga saga. In the 13th century South Jutland became a duchy. The first duke was Canute Lavard (Knud Lavard). In the late 14th century it took the name of the Duchy of Schleswig.
