It has 5 Pelton turbines with a total installed capacity of 45 MWe which generate an average of 120 GWh of electricity per year.

The concrete gravity dam has a height of 90 m and a length of 800 m. The dam's reservoir has a surface area of 135 km² and a capacity of 2,180 million m³. The hydroelectric power plant was fitted with 2 x 67.5 MWe Francis turbines with a total capacity of 135 Mwe.
