Jutiapa is a department of Guatemala that borders along El Salvador and the Pacific Ocean. The capital is the city of Jutiapa. It has a population of about 400,000, primarily of European and African extractions. The population is ethnically "ladinos" or "mestizos" (i.e. not Indians)(mestizo) in its majority.
