Kulpi

Kulpi is a port town, located in South 24 Parganas district of the Indian state of West Bengal, about 78 km south of Kolkata and about 25 km from Diamond Harbour, on the eastern bank of the Hooghly river. It is the site of the proposed port-cum-special economic zone. It is on NH 117 and is 72 km from Sealdah on the Sealdah-Lakshikantapur-Kakdwip-Namkhana track of Eastern Railway.

Jaynagar Mazilpur

Jaynagar Majilpur is a town and a municipality in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority. Both the places are also identified separately a Jaynagar (or Jaynagar) and Majilpur. It is connected to Kolkata by Kolkata Suburban Railway, Sealdah South, Namkhana Section line.

Baneswar

Baneswar is a small town in Cooch Behar district of West Bengal, India. Baneswar is famous for its shiva temple. Baneswar is also known for its tortoises (locally known as 'Mohan') which live in 'shiv pukur' near the temple. The word 'Baneswar' came from Ban+eeswar. Ban was a 'king of Asur'. He carried out 'Shiva linga', wished to bring eeswar(Lord Shiva) to 'Patal'. But he failed. The 'Shiva linga' fixed at where the temple could see today.
