The 1996 Charkhi Dadri mid-air collision occurred on 12 November 1996 over the village of Charkhi Dadri, to the west of New Delhi, India. The aircraft involved were Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight 763 (SVA763), a Boeing 747-168B en route from New Delhi to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan Airlines Flight 1907 (KZA1907), an Ilyushin Il-76TD en route from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, to New Delhi.

Rohtak district

Rohtak district is one of the 21 districts of Haryana state in northern India. It is located in the southeast of Haryana and northwest of Delhi, bounded by Jind and Sonipat districts to the north, Jhajjar and Sonipat districts to the east, and Hissar, Sirsa, and Bhiwani districts to the west. Rohtak city is the district headquarters. Rohtak is home to the current chief minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

Jhojhu Kalan is a village in the Bhiwani district of Haryana, India. Jhojhu Kalan is Jat-dominated village. Most of the Jats in village are Sangwans and this is one of the biggest Sangwan villages in the region. Jhojhu Kalan represents 13 Sangwan villages under "Sangwan Chalisi (40)". The village has contributed many soldiers to Indian Army.

Bhiwani

Bhiwani is a city and a municipal council in Bhiwani district in the state of Haryana, India. It is known as the city of temples and often termed as "Choti Kashi". Besides being a seat of spiritual learning, the city has been the centerstage of regional politics. The city is hometown to three of Haryana's chief ministers: Bansi Lal, Banarsi Dass Gupta and Hukum Singh. District Bhiwani was created on 22 December 1972. The district headquarters is situated in Bhiwani town.
