Tapti River

The Tapti River ancient original name Tapi River, is a river in central India. It is one of the major rivers of peninsular India with a length of around 724 kilometres . It is one of only three rivers in peninsular India that run from east to west - the others being the Narmada River and the Mahi River.

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is a public university located in the city of Surat, Gujarat, India. It was previously known as South Gujarat University. The renaming of the university occurred during the calendar year 2004. This name is in honour of the famous scholar and poet of Gujarat, Narmad.
