Yerwada

Yerawada  pronunciation is a City neighbourhood of Pune City in the State of Maharashtra, India. Before the Britishraj Yerawada was known as Yeraoda. Yerawada is one of the most densely populated area in Pune City. This place is located at the beginning of Ahmednagar highway and also on the way to old Pune Airport at Lohgaon. Mhasoba

Mhasoba, pronounced "MUH-SO-BAA", is a horned buffalo deity of pastoral tribes in Western and Southern India. In Maharashtra, many Gawlis (tribes making their living cow-herding and by selling milk and milk products) have been worshipping this deity for hundreds of years. Mhasoba is sometime connected with Shiva, who may have been a pre-Hindu deity adopted by Brahmin/Hindu culture.
