Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur  pronunciation is a city and a municipal council in Hoshiarpur district in the Indian state of Punjab. It was founded, according to tradition, during the early part of the fourth century. In 1809 it was occupied by the forces of Maharaja Karanvir Singh and was united into the greater state of Punjab. Hoshiarpur is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:31.53|N|75.92|E||||| | |name= }}. It has an average elevation of 296 metres .

Gagret

Gagret is a beautiful town and a nagar panchayat in Una district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Gagret falls under Hamirpur parliamentary Constituency and is a constituency for Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Gagret is situated near Swan or Sombhadra river; Swan is a seasonal river. Gagret forms a border place when one moves from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh via Hoshiarpur.

Hariana

Hariana is a city and a municipal council in Hoshiarpur district in the Indian state of Punjab. Hariana is named after Guru Hari Sen; the guru of the singer Tansen. It was a famous music gharana once. Gujjar Mal Vasudev raagi & Pandit Telu Ram were singers & residents of hariana. When the mugals entered into India; they made a Quila in a place called Malot nearby Hariana & Hariana was their tehsil at that time.
