Tampaksiring

Tampaksiring is a town in central Bali, Indonesia. It is the home to the Gunung Kawi Temple and the Senang Hati Foundation. In the past, Tampaksiring is one of the governance center in Bali during the kingdom period. Tampaksiring is the site of the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace. The Palace was built between 1957-1960 at the initiation of President Soekarno.

Gunung Kawi

Gunung Kawi is an 11th-century temple complex in Tampaksiring north east of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. It is located on the river Pakrisan. The complex comprises 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) carved into the cliff face. They stand in 7-metre-high sheltered niches cut into the sheer cliff face. These monuments are thought to be dedicated to King Anak Wungsu of the Udayana dynasty and his favourite queens.

Bangli Regency

Bangli is a regency of Bali, Indonesia. It has an area of 520.81 km and population of 197,210 (2004). Its regency seat is Bangli. Up till 1907, Bangli was one of the nine kingdoms of Bali. The capital has a famous Hindu temple, the Pura Kehen, which dates from the 11th century. Bangli also has one village, lies surround a hill, Demulih.

Kintamani, Bali

Kintamani is a location on the western edge of the larger caldera wall of Gunung Batur in Bali, Indonesia. It is on the same north-south road as Penelokan and has been used as a stopping place to access and view the Gunung Batur region. Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Shivaite and water temple on Bali, Indonesia — the other major water temple being Pura Ulun Danu Batur. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. Water temples serve the entire region in the outflow area; downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association.
