Ross Errilly Friary

The Ross Errilly Friary (Irish: Mainistir Ros Oirialaigh, often anglicised in 18th & 19th century sources as Rosserelly) is a medieval Franciscan friary located about a mile to the northwest of Headford, County Galway, Ireland. It is a National Monument of Ireland and among the best-preserved medieval monastic sites in the country. Though usually referred to by locals as "Ross Abbey," this is not technically correct as the community never had an abbot.

Cregg Mill

Cregg Mill is a converted 18th century watermill located near Corrandulla village in County Galway, Ireland, approximately 9 miles from Galway City. The mill serviced the local area, including neighbouring Cregg Castle, and served as a feeding centre for the poor of Corrandulla during the Great Famine. An advertisement in the early twentieth century shows that wheat, rye, corn, oats, and barley were kiln dried and ground there.

Killanin is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in County Galway, Ireland. The club is a member of the Galway GAA. The club is one of 20 teams competing in the Senior Championship in Galway. Their best result in the competition came in 2000, where they reached the final, losing out narrowly to Corofin.

Caherlistrane GAC

Caherlistrane is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in County Galway, Ireland. The club is a member of the Galway GAA. Underage teams up to U-16's play in the Galway league and championships while further age groups compete in their respective competitions. They are one of the oldest established Gaelic Football clubs in Galway. Their only success in the Galway Senior Football Championship came in 1890, and reached their last final in 1892.
