Rathdowney-Errill GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling club in County Laois, Ireland. The club colours are green and red. The club was created in 2005 by the complete amalgamation at all levels of hurling of neighbouring clubs Errill and Rathdowney. Both the Rathdowney and Errill Clubs remain as separate football clubs competing in the Laois Junior 'B' Football Championship.

Galmoy Mine is a zinc and lead mine 50 km northwest of Kilkenny, Ireland. Located in the Rathdowney Trend, Galmoy is an underground mine. The Rathdowney Trend, stretches 40 kilometres, between the towns of Abbeyleix and Thurles. The region is a broad plain drained by the Rossetown and Drish Rivers, tributaries of the River Suir, which flows into the sea at Waterford.
