Kfar Aza

Kfar Aza is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located between Netivot and Sderot around three kilometres east of Gaza, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 760. The village was established in August 1951 by immigrants from Egypt and the Moroccan city of Tangiers who had received training in Ein Harod, Ayelet HaShahar and later Afikim.

Sdot Negev Regional Council

Sdot Negev Regional Council, formerly known as Azata Regional Council is a regional council in the northwestern Negev desert in the South District of Israel. The Sdot Negev region council was established in 1951 by the Religious Zionist HaPoel HaMizrahi settlement movement. The council encompasses 16 communities: two kibbutzim, 12 moshavim and two communal settlements.

Mefalsim

Mefalsim is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located near the Gaza Strip and covering 11,000 dunams, it fall under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. In 2012 it had a population of 950. The village was established in 1949 by members of the MAMLT youth movement, most of whom were immigrants from Argentina and Uruguay. It was named for the immigrants from Latin America who paved the way for others to make aliyah.

Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council

The Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council, is a regional council in the north-western Negev, in Israel's Southern District. The Regional Council's territory lies midway between Beersheba and Ashkelon, bounded on the west by the Gaza Strip. The eastern border abuts Bnei Shimon. The city of Sderot forms an enclave within Sha'ar HaNegev. The region's population is over 6,000, and covers an area of over 45,000 acres (approx. 180 km² or 70 sq. mi.). The average elevation is approximately 180 m (495 ft.

Yakhini

Yakhini is an Orthodox moshav in southern Israel. Located in the northern Negev desert near the town of Sderot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 476. The moshav was founded in 1950 by Jewish immigrants from Yemen, who were brought to Israel during Operation Magic Carpet, when most Yemenite Jews arrived in the country.
