Amusa (river)

The Amusa is an Italian river in whose source is near the border between the province of Reggio Calabria and the province of Vibo Valentia. From there, the river flows southeast past Caulonia and into the Ionian Sea east of Roccella Ionica.

Serre Calabresi

The Serre Calabresi or Calabrian Serre are a mountain and hill area of Calabria, southern Italy, characterized by large extents of woods. The name could be derived by the Jewish Ser, meaning "mountains", or it could refer to the shape of a handsaw. The highest peak is the Monte Pecoraro, with an altitude of 1423 m.

Ferdinandea (Calabria)

Ferdinandea is an area of 3600 hectare in Serre Calabresi included in the territories of Bivongi, Stilo, Brognaturo, Mongiana and Serra San Bruno in the provinces of Reggio Calabria and Vibo Valentia. Ferdinandea is entirely covered by fir and beech woods. The name originates from King Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies, who used the area for hunting after 1832.
