Dolo River
The Dolo mountain stream springs from the Mount Cusna's slopes, in the Reggio-Emilia province, in the Tuscany-Emilia Romagna Apennine Mountains. It is a natural boundary for the province of Reggio Emilia and the province of Modena. Its flow ends into the Secchia river, its length is about 13 to 16 miles (to km). Three miles before ending into the Secchia river the Dragone mountain stream flows into it.

The 1920 Garfagnana earthquake (also known as the Lunigiana earthquake) was a major earthquake that occurred on September 7, 1920 in Garfagnana and Lunigiana, both agricultural areas in the Italian Tuscany region. The Orto Botanico "Pania di Corfino" (less than 1 hectare) is a botanical garden located an altitude of 1370 m in the Natural Park dell'Orecchiella in Pié Magnano, Corfino, Villa Collemandina, Province of Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1984 to collect and preserve indigenous flora of the Apennine Mountains.

Pietra di Bismantova
The Pietra di Bismantova is a geological formation in the Reggiano Apennines, in the comune of Castelnovo ne' Monti, province of Reggio Emilia, central Italy, c. 45 km from Reggio Emilia. It has the shape of a narrow, quasi-cylindrical plateau (measuring 1 km x 240 m) whose steep walls emerge c. 300 m as an isolated spur from the nearby hills. The top has an altitude of 1,047 m above sea level. It is included in the National Park of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano.
