The Battle of San Pietro, also known as the Battle of Crocetta or the Battle of Parma was a battle fought on June 29, 1734, between troops of France and Sardinia on one side, and Habsburg Austrian troops on the other, as part of the War of Polish Succession, between the village of La Crocetta and the city of Parma, then in the Duchy of Parma.

The Artificial Vision and Intelligent Systems Laboratory of the University of Parma (also known as Parma VisLab or VisLab) is the artificial vision research laboratory of University of Parma, Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione. Parma Airport

Sergio Lanfranchi Stadium

Sergio Lanfranchi Stadium was a sports stadium in Parma, Italy. The Parma Rugby team played games at the stadium. The American football team Parma Panthers played their games here as well. The stadium is described and referenced in the book by John Grisham called Playing for Pizza numerous times as the home and practice field for the Parma Panthers. The stadium was demolished in July 2008 because the area was chosen for the building of the European Food Safety Authority.

Teatro Farnese

Teatro Farnese is a Baroque-style theatre in Parma, Italy. It was built in 1618 by Giovanni Battista Aleotti. The theatre was almost destroyed by an Allied air raid during World War II (1944). It was rebuilt and reopened in 1962. Some claim this as the first permanent proscenium theater (that is, a theater in which the audience views the action through a single frame, which is known as the "proscenium arch").
