Cremona railway station

Cremona railway station (Italian: Stazione di Cremona) is the main station serving the city and comune of Cremona, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Opened in 1863, it is the terminus of six railway lines, all of a regional nature, linking Cremona with Pavia, Mantua, Treviglio, Brescia, Piacenza and Fidenza, respectively. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni.

Adda (river)

The Adda (Latin Abdua, or Addua; in Lombard Ada) is a river in North Italy, a tributary of the Po. It rises in the Alps near the border with Switzerland and flows through Lake Como. The Adda joins the Po a few kilometres upstream of Cremona. It is 313 kilometres long. The highest point of the drainage basin is the summit of la Spedla (a subpeak of Piz Bernina), at 4,020 m. Towns along the river Adda include Bormio, Sondrio, Bellagio and Lecco, and Lodi.
