Orto Botanico Comunale di Lucca

The Orto Botanico Comunale di Lucca is a botanical garden located at Via del Giardino Botanico, 14, Lucca, Italy, and operated by the city. It is open daily during the warmer months, and weekday mornings off-season. An admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1820 by Marie Louise, Duchess of Parma, and contains a number of mature plantings of botanical interest. Its site is roughly triangular, set within a corner of Lucca's city wall, and organized into two main sections.

Province of Lucca

The Province of Lucca (Italian: Provincia di Lucca) is a province in the Tuscany region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Lucca. It has an area of 1,773 km², and a total population of about 400,000. There are 35 comuni in the province http://www. upinet. it/indicatore. asp?id_statistiche=6. Church of San Francesco

The Convent of San Francesco is a church in Lucca, Italy. The presence of Franciscan monks in Lucca was already attested in 1228, and the new religious order had just took a prominent role in city life. The church, built out of gravel, is a single classroom with a trussed roof. It was completed in the early 15th century with the inclusion of three presbyterate chapels.

Lucca railway station

Lucca railway station (Italian: Stazione di Lucca) serving the city and comune of Lucca, in the region of Tuscany, central Italy. Opened in 1846, it forms part of the Florence–Viareggio line, and is also the junction for lines to Pisa and Aulla. All of these lines are served by regional trains only. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni.
