Towadako, Aomori

Towadako, Aomori was a town located in Kamikita District in central Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Hōosawa Village was founded in 1889 from the merger of the hamlets of Hōryō, Oirase, and Sawada. It changed its name to Towada Village in 1931 and was elevated to town status in 1955. In April 1975, it changed its name to Towadako Town. On January 1, 2005, it merged into the neighboring city of Towada, and thus it no longer exists as an independent municipality.

Shichinohe Station

Shichinohe Station is a former railway station on the closed Nanbu Jūkan Railway in Shichinohe, Aomori, Japan. There was once a plan to use the Nanbu Jūkan to connect the Tōhoku Shinkansen with Noheji or Mutsu, but the railway was closed before the construction of the Tōhoku Shinkansen started.

Kuraishi, Aomori

Kuraishi, Aomori was a village located in Sannohe District in central Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Kuraishi Village was founded on April 1, 1889. On July 1, 2004 it was merged into the town of Gonohe, and thus no longer exists as an independent municipality. An inland village, Kuraishi had an agriculture-based economy and was noted for its production of apples. At the time of its merger, Kuraishi had an estimated population of 3,363 and a population density of 60.4 persons per km².
