Noboribetsu Station

Noboribetsu Station is a railway station on the Muroran Main Line of Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido) located in Noboribetsu, Hokkaidō, Japan. The station is assigned the station number H28. The station was opened by Hokkaido Colliery and Railway Company on August 1, 1892 when the line between Higashi-Muroran Station and Iwamizawa Station opened. The station is a gateway to the Noboribetsu Onsen hot spring, which is connected by a 15-minute ride of Dōnan Bus from the station.

Horobetsu Station

is a railway station on the Muroran Main Line of Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido) located in Noboribetsu, Hokkaidō, Japan. The station is assigned the station number H30. The station was opened by Hokkaido Colliery and Railway Company on August 1, 1892 when the line between Higashi-Muroran Station and Iwamizawa Station opened. Noboribetsu City Hall is located adjacent to Horobetsu Station.

Lake Kuttara

Lake Kuttara is a near circular caldera lake in Shiraoi, Hokkaidō, Japan. It is part of Shikotsu-Tōya National Park. The lake is recognized as having the best water quality in all of Japan. With a transparency of 19 metres, the lake ranks second only to Lake Mashū according to the Ministry of the Environment. Resident species of the lake include a salamander species, Hynobius retardatus . Since 1909 Sockeye salmon have been introduced to the lake.
