Teshima

Teshima is an island located in the Inland Sea of Japan, between Naoshima and Shōdoshima islands, and is part of Kagawa Prefecture. It has an area of 14.5 km and a population of about 1,000 people. The island was made famous for a major industrial waste scandal.

Ogijima

Ogijima (男木島) is an island in the Seto Inland Sea, in southern Japan. It is next to Megijima (女木島), a few kilometers at sea north of Takamatsu, in Kagawa Prefecture. It is about two kilometers long and less than a kilometer wide. The island is largely mountainous and flat land is scarce. The population in 2010 was 202 people. Ogichō is the island's only village. A notable granite lighthouse is located at the northern end of Ogijima; the lighthouse annex is now a museum.

Kagawa District, Kagawa

Kagawa District, Kagawa is a district located in Kagawa, Japan. As of the January 10, 2006 Takamatsu merger (but with 2003 population statistics), the district consists of the single town of Naoshima and has an estimated population of 3,583 and a density of 251.97 persons per km². The total area is 14.22 km².

Chichu Art Museum

The Chichu Art Museum (lit. "art museum in the earth") is a museum built directly into a southern portion of the island of Naoshima in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. It was designed by architect Tadao Ando and opened its doors to the public on July 18, 2004.
