Maragua is a town in the Central Province of Kenya. It is the capital of the Maragua District. The town is located along Thika–Sagana road just 10 km south of Murang'a. Maragua town has an urban population of 4,286 and a total population of 27,384. Norwegian-Kenyan singer Stella Mwangi was born in Maragua.

Maragua District is one of the seventy-one districts of Kenya, located in the Central Province. Its capital is the town of Maragua. Murang'a High School

Murang'a High School is a Catholic church sponsored boys boarding high school located in Murang'a town, Kenya. It has over 800 students. The school was founded in the year 1964 and since then has grown to become the one of the top performers in Murang'a County. Murang'a (sometimes misspelled as Muranga) is a town in Central Province of Kenya. The town was previously called Fort Hall. It is the administrative centre of Murang'a County and is mainly inhabited by the Kikuyu community. According to the 1999 census, the town has a population of about 11,021.

Karuri is a town in Kiambu District (Kiambu East), Central Province, Kenya. The town hosts a town council. The Council borders the city of Nairobi to the South for about 20 km from Nairobi City, Kikuyu Town Council to the West, Limuru Municipal Council to the North and Kiambu Municipal Council to the East. It covers an area of 46 km. with a population of 105,506 people, of which 19,746 are classified as urban (1999 census).
