Stanovci

Stanovci is a small village near the city of Vučitrn in the northeastern part of Kosovo. In fact it is made up of two villages, Upper Stanovc and Lower Stanovc. Stanovci is situated between the river Sitnica and the Pristina-Mitrovica road. It is approximately 15 km from the Pristina. The village has a population of about 2000. The land is mainly used for agriculture. The mountain of Čičavica rises to a height of 1,091 m to the west of the village.

Lab (river)

The Lab is a river in the north-eastern part of Kosovo. The 72 km long right tributary to the Sitnica river, it is the main river in the Malo Kosovo depression. Near its origin are remains of medieval palace of Serbian king Milutin (1282-1321) called Vrhlab .

Vrani Do

Vrani Do (Albanian: Vranidoll; Serbian: Vrani Do / Врани До) is a village in the municipality of Pristina, in central Kosovo. It has about 130 houses and about 1000 inhabitants.

Pestova (archaeological site)

Part of a series of articles upon Archaeology of Kosovo Main article: Roman Period Sites in Kosovo Pestova village is located in the Municipality of Vushtri, on the left side, stretched along the Prishtina-Mitrovica road, more or less 4 km from Vushtrri. The area is known for a very fertile agricultural land, productive even in present days. During the work carried out in 2005 in Pestova, accidentally some wall contours where discovered.

Tomb of Sultan Murat

The Tomb of Sultan Murat (also known as Meşhed-i Hüdâvendigâr) is a 14th-century mausoleum dedicated to the Ottoman Sultan Murat I located in Kosovo. Murat I (nicknamed Hüdavendigâr, "the God-liked one") died in the Battle of Kosovo (1389), and his remains were taken to Bursa and buried in his tomb (at the Hüdavendigâr complex). But his son Bayezid I still made another tomb in Kosovo in the name of his father.
