Kernavė

Kernavė was a medieval capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and today is a tourist attraction and an archeological site (population 318, 1999). It is located in the Širvintos district municipality located in southeast Lithuania. A Lithuanian state cultural reserve was established in Kernavė in 1989. In 2004 Kernavė Archaeological Site was included into UNESCO world heritage list.

Elektrėnai Ice Palace

Elektrėnai Ice Palace (Lithuanian: Elektrėnų ledo rūmai) is an indoor ice hockey arena in Elektrėnai, Lithuania. It seats 2,000 people. It is the home arena of SC Energija. When it was built in 1977, it was the first indoor ice arena in Lithuania.

Elektrėnai Reservoir

Elektrėnai Reservoir, located south of the city of Elektrėnai, Lithuania, is the third-biggest artificial lake in Lithuania. It was created in 1961 by damming the Strėva River. It supplies cooling water to the 1,800 MW Elektrėnai Power Plant. A number of villages were drowned by the reservoir; over 140 of them were relocated. The reservoir also covered eight other lakes. The reservoir covers about 1,264 hectares, with depths of over 30 meters.

St. Nicholas Church, Semeliškės

St. Nicholas Church is an Orthodox church in Semeliškės, Lithuania, built in 1895. After the suppression of the January Uprising, the Tsarist government financed the construction of a dozen of Orthodox churches in Vilnius region, in order to stress the Russian rule in this land. The Orthodox peasants from the Semeliškės village asked the Vilnius Orthodox diocese to build a church in their village, too; but they got a negative response due to the small dimension of the village.
