Francisco Sarabia National Airport or Terán Airport (formerly IATA code TGZ, ICAO code MMTG) is a national airport located at Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico. It used to handle national air traffic for the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Scheduled airline service for the city is now handled at the new Angel Albino Corzo International Airport, which has taken over Sarabia's former IATA and ICAO airport codes (as of June 2006). It is now used for military purposes only.

Chiapa de Corzo (Mesoamerican site)

Chiapa de Corzo is an archaeological site of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, located in the Central Depression of Chiapas of present-day Mexico. It rose to prominence during the Middle Formative period, becoming a regional center or capital that controlled trade along the Grijalva River. By then, its public precinct had reached 18-20 ha in size, with total settlement approaching 70 ha.

Museo de la Laca and the Santo Domingo monastery

The former monastery of Santo Domingo/Museo de la Laca is located in the city of Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico. The monastery with its church was built in the 16th century, with the monastery secularized later. The church retains its original function. The building with two courtyards was restored between 1999 and 2002 to become a community and cultural center, with the Museo de la Laca, founded in 1952, moved inside to take up much of the upper floor.

Zoológico Miguél Álvarez del Toro

The Zoológico Miguél Álvarez del Toro (ZOOMAT) is a Mexican zoo located in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. It was founded in 1942 as Zoológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez. It was renamed after its director Miguel Alvarez del Toro and relocated in 1981. Currently it is located in a nature reserve known as El Zapotal. The altitude is 630 metres and the annual mean temperature is 24.7Cº. The main characteristic of the zoo is that it only exhibits endemic fauna.
