Las Margaritas, Chiapas

Las Margaritas is a city, and the surrounding municipality of the same name, in the Mexican state of Chiapas. The municipal seat is located some 25 km to the northeast of Comitán de Domínguez, while the municipality extends to the east as far as the border with Guatemala. Part of the Lagunas de Montebello National Park is in the municipality's territory.

XEVFS-AM

XEVFS-AM (La Voz de la Frontera Sur – "The Voice of the Southern Border") is an indigenous community radio station that broadcasts in Spanish, Tojolabal, Mam, Tseltal, Tsotsil and Popti (otherwise known as Jakaltek) from Las Margaritas in the Mexican state of Chiapas. It is run by the Cultural Indigenist Broadcasting System (SRCI) of the National Commission for the Development of Indigenous Peoples (CDI).

Comitán

Comitán is the fourth-largest city in the Mexican state of Chiapas. It is the seat of government of the municipality of the same name. It is located in the east-central part of Chiapas, near the border with Guatemala at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:16.25|N|92.13|W||||| | |name= }}. In the 2005 census the population was 83,571 people. Its municipality total was 121,263. The municipality has an area of 1,043.30 km² (402.82 sq mi).
