The Federal Social Readaptation Center No. 1 "Altiplano" (Spanish: 'Centro Federal de Readaptación Social Número 1 "Altiplano"') is the maximum security federal prison (originally called the Penal de Máxima Seguridad No. 1 "Almoloya de Juárez", later renamed the Federal Social Readaptation Center No. 1 "La Palma", before assuming its present name) of the Secretariat of Public Security in Mexico.

Calixtlahuaca

Calixtlahuaca (from the Nahuatl, where calli means "house", and ixtlahuatl means "prairie" or "plains", hence the translation would be "house in the prairie") is a Postclassic period Mesoamerican archaeological site, located near the present-day city of Toluca in the State of Mexico. Known originally as "Matlatzinco", this urban settlement was a powerful capital whose kings controlled a large territory in the Toluca Valley.

Lic. Adolfo López Mateos International Airport

Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos International Airport is an international airport located at Toluca, State of Mexico, Mexico. It is part of the Mexico City Metropolitan Airport Group, and it's being improved and promoted to handle some traffic for the city of Toluca, but it mainly serves as a low-cost carrier airport for Mexico City, with service from airlines such as Interjet, Volaris and most recently Aeromexico Connect. The airport is named after President Adolfo López Mateos.

Almoloya de Juárez

Almoloya de Juárez is a town in the State of Mexico and the seat of the municipality of Almoloya de Juárez. The name Almoloya comes from the Nahuatl, that is properly Almoloyan, composed of: atl, "water"; molo "impersonal voice of moloni, to flow the source" and yan, "place"; that it means "place where flows the water source".

Cosmovitral

The Cosmovitral is a stained glass mural and botanical garden located in Toluca, Mexico. The building takes its name from the mural which is set in the buildings huge windows that surround the building and in the ceiling. The building originally was construction in 1910 as the 16 de Septiembre Market, but when this was closed in 1975, Leopoldo Flores successfully convinced the city government to convert the building into a space for art.
