Ocoyoacac is a town and municipality in the State of Mexico in Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 134.71 km². It is one of the 17 municipalities that border Mexico City. It borders the Distrito Federal's western borough of Cuajimalpa. As of the 2010 census, the municipality had a total population of 61,805 inhabitants.

San Jerónimo Acazulco

San Jerónimo Acazulco is a town and community in the municipality of Ocoyoacac, Mexico State, Mexico. Once an agricultural community, the inhabitants are mostly dedicated to commerce in their ejido, La Marquesa. It is an indigenous community and most of the elderly still speak the local variant of the Otomi language. According to 2010 census there are 4,827 inhabitants.

San Mateo Atenco

San Mateo Atenco is a city and a municipality located in the State of México in Mexico. It lies west of the Federal District (Distrito Federal) near the municipality of Metepec, in the central part of the state of México, and is part of the Toluca urban area bordering the city to the east. Atenco is derived from the Nahuatl language. It means “In the water’s edge”, from atl(water), tentli (edge) and co (in).

Santiago Tianguistenco

Santiago Tianguistenco, often just simply called Tianguistenco, is a city and municipality located in Mexico State about thirty km south of the state capital of Toluca. It is located in the southwest part of the Valley of Toluca at the edge of the Ajusco mountain range that separates it from Mexico City. The name Tianguistenco (Tyanguistengko) is from Nahuatl and means “at the edge of the tianguis,” which is a traditional Aztec market.

Toluca Valley

The Toluca Valley is a valley in central Mexico, just west of the Valley of Mexico. The valley runs north south for about 35 km surrounded by mountains, the most imposing of which is the Nevado de Toluca Volcano. It is one of the highest valleys in Mexico and for this reason has a relatively cold climate.
