Yautepec is a city and its surrounding municipality of the same name located in the north-central part of the Mexican state of Morelos. Cocoyoc, Morelos

Cocoyoc is a city in the north-central part of the Mexican state of Morelos. It is located at 18°53′N 99°04′W. The city lies within the municipality of Yautepec. Cocoyoc reported 9,026 inhabitants in the 2005 census, and is the third-largest community in Yautepec.

Anenecuilco

Anenecuilco is a town in the municipality of Ayala, Morelos, Mexico. It has a population of 10,773 people. Mexican revolutionary hero, Emiliano Zapata was born here in 1879, and today the town is the home of a museum in the house of his birth. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:18|46|41|N|98|59|10|W| | |name= }}, at a mean height of 1,239 metres above sea level. The placenames means "Place where the water twists and turns" in the Nahuatl language.

Ciudad Ayala, Morelos

Ciudad Ayala is a city in the east-central part of the Mexican state of Morelos. Although it had a 2005 census population of only 6,190 inhabitants, the city serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of Ayala.

Battle of Cuautla (1911)

The Battle of Cuautla was a battle between the forces of Emiliano Zapata and the federal army of the Mexican government that took place in the state of Morelos from May 11–19, 1911, during the Mexican Revolution. It has been described as the "six of the most terrible days of battle in the whole Revolution". Eventually, the remains of the defending "Golden Fifth" regiment, the Fifth Cavalry Regiment of the Federal Army, withdrew and Zapata took control of the town.
