La Peñita de Jaltemba, Nayarit, Mexico, commonly called La Peñita, is a small beach town on Jaltemba Bay with approximately 20,000 inhabitants. It's located 64 kilometers north of Puerto Vallarta at kilometer 90 on Mexico Highway 200. The surrounding area is noted for pineapple, banana, mango and other fruit production. The main street, or "La Avenida" as it is known, runs east - west from the highway to the beach and has a central boulevard lined with palm trees and benches.

Chacala is a picturesque beach-town set in small cove on the Pacific coast of Mexico in the State of Nayarit. It is located about 100 kilometers north of Puerto Vallarta. The population consists of approximately 300 full time residents, but can swell to over 1000 during Mexico's most popular vacation periods such as Semana Santa, (Easter Week) and Christmas.
