General Bravo, Nuevo León
General Bravo is a municipality and also the name of its main population center and seat of government in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. It is named after Nicolás Bravo, a hero of the Mexican War of Independence and was founded on November 18, 1868.

Its name honors Dr. José María Coss, a liberal politician of the 19th century.
